Permaloc RotNot Base™

The key structural component of any spa, the base, serves both as the main support for the tub itself, and as a critical barrier between your investment and the cold, wet ground. The base of every Paragon Spa is injection moulded (not vacuum formed) from a virtually indestructible composite material that is also 100% recycled regrind plastic. Injection moulding allows us to strategically reinforce the base to insure the proper support of the water weight and bathers over many years. Our bases are totally impervious to water, rust and rodents, will never warp, and are absolutely maintenance-free.

Permaloc Vertical Support™

Unlike many other brands, a Paragon Spa “chassis” contains no wood or steel that can rust, rot or weaken over time. Our unique vertical supports are made from the same material as the base, 100% recycled regrind plastic, and are also injection moulded for superior strength, precise fit and perfect alignment. These supports have been meticulously designed and placed for the proper transfer of stress between the spa shell and base.

Permaloc Lip Support™

Crowning Paragon’s Permaloc structure is our unique lip system, where the spa
surface edge meets the side cabinet. Traditionally, this is a weak point in spa anatomy. The surface is prone to shift on the vertical supports, gaps allow water and pests to compromise the spa interior, and lip edges can be sharp. Our Permaloc Lip Support™ system completely eliminates these potential problems. An ingenious PVC extrusion, formed to permanently lock onto the vertical supports, is bonded directly to the underside of the lip surface. The result is unequalled strength and stability, a water-tight drip path and an “edgeless” seam between spa surface and side cabinet.

Eternal Wood Cabinet™

PermaLoc Eternal Wood Cabinet™ is the final component of the PermaLoc structural system. This carefully engineered, synthetic cabinet is made to look and feel like real, quality finished wood, without all the shortcomings of real wood, such as warping, rotting, fading and the constant need for maintenance. Locked in tight to both the base and the lip, the cabinet provides yet another layer of insulating protection for the spa’s interior equipment against weather and pests
